Accidents happen to infants, children and adults everyday. Many variables separate those who live and escape serious injury from those who die or suffer long after their misfortune. No one can control most of these variables. But, there is one variable you can control when you are on the scene of any medical emergency: YOU.

In PRIMARY CARE learn how to apply the ABCD'S to a patient's lifeline:
A = Assess the scene, Alert EMS, and Airway Open
B = Breathing check /begin rescue breathing if needed
C = Circulation check/begin chest compressions if needed
D = Defibrillation
S = Serious bleeding, Shock and Spinal injury management

In SECONDARY CARE learn the following:
Injury Assessment
Illness Assessment
Bandaging
Splinting for Dislocation and fractures

The above course covers Primary and Secondary Care for infants, children and adults. The course is offered both on weeknights and weekends.
