Crystal River, Florida - Diving with the Manatees
February 14 - 18, 2007
 This is a great trip for everyone – Divers, Scuba
Rangers, Families and Snorkelers! Crystal River is
the winter home of the Florida Manatee. During the
winter months the Manatee swim into the warmer,
fresh spring feed waters of the Crystal River area to
raise their young. The Manatee are an endangered
species that are protected by federal law.
Sanctuaries have been built in the shallow water
within the Crystal River basin that allow the Manatee
to have refuge from boats and humans. We will
spend Thursday diving and snorkeling with the
manatee, diving off of a pontoon boat.

As of 12/31/2007 Passport required from all destinations
Please be aware that if you are planning on getting a passport for the first time or renewing a passport that the processing time is longer than normal so start early.
